Key Responsibilities Procurement & Incoming Materials (Rice + Beverages) Inspect raw materials (grains, ingredients, packaging materials) against approved quality specs Analyse samples of supplier batches & prepare reports based on visual checks, lab testing & documentation Perform moisture, physical purity parameters (broken grain, foreign matter, admixtures, chaffy, discoloration & contamination tests) and sensory tests for rice; check beverage inputs (sweeteners, acids, flavorings) as required Coordinate with procurement and suppliers for corrective actions and replacements Storage & Warehousing Conduct regular quality checks for raw materials and finished goods in storage Monitor temperature, humidity, pest control, and hygiene in warehouses and cold storage areas Ensure FIFO/FEFO systems are followed to prevent quality deterioration or expiry risks Maintain storage logs and shelf-life tracking for perishable ingredients (esp. for beverages).
