As a Senior Engineer / Engineer in the Purchase department at our organization, you will play a crucial role in planning, organizing, and scheduling all purchasing activities to align with our organizational goals. Your responsibilities will include managing procurement operations in an ERP/SAP-driven environment, ensuring compliance with import policies and EXIM procedures, and maintaining a robust vendor/materials database across India. You will be expected to track and achieve purchase-related measurable deliverables such as cost, quality, and timelines, while taking proactive accountability for sourcing, order management, and procurement execution. Additionally, you will drive vendor development, maintain QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) parameters, monitor and evaluate supplier performance, handle RFQ (Request for Quotation) processes end-to-end, and support the complete procurement lifecycle for assigned programs. Key skills and competencies required for this role include a strong knowledge of procurement procedures and commercial terms, experience in handling purchase volumes of INR 300-500 million, excellent negotiation and vendor management skills, a proven track record of achieving measurable procurement goals, and strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ideally, you should hold a B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME).
