Job Summary: The US Immigration Consultant is responsible for providing guidance and support on US immigration processes, including visa applications, work permits, compliance, and documentation. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of immigration-related matters in alignment with U.S. immigration laws and client or organizational needs. Key Responsibilities: Advise clients or employees on appropriate US visa types (H-1B, L-1, B1/B2, F1, OPT, etc.) based on eligibility and requirements Prepare, review, and submit immigration petitions and applications to USCIS and related agencies Monitor case status, maintain immigration records, and update clients or stakeholders on progress Ensure compliance with US immigration regulations, including I-9, E-Verify, and public access files Communicate with attorneys, government agencies, and clients as needed Support audits, RFEs (Requests for Evidence), and site visits Maintain immigration policies, templates, and documentation Stay current with changes in immigration laws, policies, and regulations Conduct client consultations, onboarding sessions, and immigration training Collaborate with HR, legal, and mobility teams to align immigration with business objectives Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Law, Human Resources, International Relations, or a related field 2+ years of experience in US immigration consulting or legal support Familiarity with US immigration laws, USCIS processes, and visa categories Strong knowledge of H-1B, L-1, F-1/OPT, B1/B2, and Green Card processes Excellent written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with immigration attorneys or law firms Familiarity with immigration case management tools (e.g., LawLogix, INSZoom, Tracker) Exposure to corporate immigration or global mobility programs Understanding of PERM labor certification and employment-based Green Card processes
