As a SAP Basis professional, you will be responsible for managing and administering Data & Analytics platforms, including system administration, backup, recovery, application deployments, performance monitoring, and maintenance of multiple and complex environments involving various SAP Components such as SAP Solution Manager, Data Services 4.X, HANA 2.X, and AWS, HANA sideCar (particularly Power BI). Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log issues, connectivity issues, and security issues. You will ensure backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, Database mirroring, Replication, and High Availability strategies for SAP HANA environments are implemented and maintained. Additionally, you will be responsible for Linux troubleshooting, maintenance, and patching, as well as platform-related Incident and problem management, including documentation and Root Cause Analysis. You will perform complex problem resolution of notified client service difficulties and manage Transports through the SAP landscapes (ChaRm). Your responsibilities will also include providing SAP Basis administration services to external and internal clients, undertaking system performance analysis of operational client environments, ensuring SAP data backups are performed according to the schedule, and conducting data restoration from backup media to ensure recoverability. You will also be involved in disaster Recovery (DR) and patching support, Change Management, and integration experience with non-SAP environments. To excel in this role, you should have experience with S/4HANA (preferred) or ECC, SAP and AWS certification is preferable, and average experience in Solution Manager (SolMan) is an advantage. Integration experience with non-SAP environments, good communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and hands-on working knowledge of SAP ECC, SAP PI/PO, Enterprise Portal, Gateway, FIORI, and S4HANA installation hosted on AWS are required. You will also be responsible for Solution manager tasks such as change management, focus build, and monitoring configuration, managing systems, component updates & patching, Kernel update, and EWA report generation. Core Basis tasks for ECC and SAP S/4 include RFC maintenance/creation, system copy, client copy, transport path/management, certificate update, performance tuning, and stop start a cluster system. Your role will involve managing environment variation within agreed tolerances, all technical responsibilities related to upgrades, support packs, and OSS note applications, assisting functional system analysts, performance tuning using appropriate monitoring and troubleshooting tools, and providing proactive guidance and mentoring to other BASIS team members. This position requires the ability to work in a 24X7 support environment, including on-call based support.,
