As a PCB Design Engineer with 1 to 5 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing PCBs for Multi-layer RF and Microwave Products used in Commercial Telecom and Defence Applications. Your role will involve utilizing your expertise in Altium Designer and other software tools such as Orcad, DraftSight, and CAM350. You will be required to generate, correct, and maintain part libraries based on component datasheets and drawings. Additionally, your responsibilities will include conducting component analysis, logical symbol & footprint verification, schematic drafting, power supply design, and PCB layout. You will also work on tasks related to Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, Thermal management, Gerber Generation, PCBA & manufacturing Support. Collaboration with the Mechanical Team for Enclosure/Milled Block, reliability analysis, and board bring up process will be an essential part of your role. Experience or knowledge in hardware/manufacturing testing using instruments like Low-frequency Oscilloscope, vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generator will be advantageous. As a preferred candidate, you should hold a degree in B.Tech/B.E. - Electronics/Telecommunication, Computers or M.Tech - Electronics/Telecommunication, Computers. The role is in the Defence & Aerospace industry under the Research & Development department falling into the Engineering & Manufacturing category. Key skills required for this role include Altium Designer, Multi-layer PCB design, RF layout, PCBA, Gerber, DXF, Orcad, DraftSight, and CAM350.
