To qualify for this role, you should have formal training or certification on infrastructure disciplines concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience. You should possess strong knowledge of infrastructure disciplines such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, and performance assessments. Additionally, you should be capable of initializing new DASD volumes, adding new tape volumes, performing space management activities, managing and defining SMS rules and ACS routines, reorganizing storage datasets, and demonstrating problem determination and resolution within the expected time frame. Hands-on experience with disaster recovery planning, performing recovery tests, managing copy services, and developing and maintaining procedures for system utilities are also required skills for this role. Preferred qualifications include strong problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong knowledge in programming in REXX or other languages.,

You should have at least 7 years of development experience in Assembler (HLASM) with a strong background in Macros/Copybooks usage. Your expertise should also include working with flat files and VSAM files in Assembler.
