As an Advanced Revit ELV/ICT/OSP professional, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in domestic and international ELV/ICT codes and building codes to develop 3D BIM models using Revit across various Levels of Development (LOD). You will oversee CAD/BIM deliverables for multiple projects, ensuring completion within budget constraints. Additionally, you will lead projects independently, conduct clash detection, resolve clashes across disciplines, and mentor junior BIM colleagues. Your role will involve working with BIM 360/ACC platforms, managing clash analysis, family creation, and ensuring technical quality assurance and effective client communication. Collaborating with engineers, clients, and consultants, you will contribute to the overall design integrity and adherence to project schedules and quality standards. To excel in this role, you must possess proficiency in software tools such as Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and ACC/BIM360 Docs Management. Knowledge of other software like Civil3D, MicroStation, and Revitzo is an added advantage. A Diploma in Electrical, coupled with 8-10 years of experience in designing and BIM modeling for Building and Infrastructure projects, is essential. You will interact with engineers, clients, and consultants through clear communication and drawings, while developing 3D BIM models using Revit at different LOD levels. As a part of your responsibilities, you will manage CAD/BIM deliverables for multiple projects, ensuring completion within the specified time frame. This includes being accountable for clash detection and resolution with other disciplines, adhering to BIM Execution Plan and project workflow criteria, and staying updated on BIM Protocol, ISO 19650, and related standards. You will create and manage Clash Analysis, Family Creation for Projects, and take charge of technical quality assurance, client feedback, and effective communication of any modifications. Collaboration with other design disciplines to maintain the integrity of the overall design is essential. Additionally, you will undertake self-checking initiatives, maintain quality control of junior BIM modelers" work, and ensure compliance with all relevant design criteria and standards. To excel in this role, you should possess good communication and interpersonal skills, have knowledge of domestic and international ELV/ICT codes and building codes, and hands-on experience with BIM 360/ACC platform and design review processes. The ability to work under pressure with moderate supervision and willingness to adapt to new challenges are key attributes. Proficiency in software tools such as Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and familiarity with other software like Civil3D, MicroStation, and Revitzo will be advantageous. Any knowledge in Design Automation is a plus. A Diploma/BE/B Tech qualification along with 10-12 years of experience in BIM modeling for ELV/Electrical systems are required for this role at Jacobs.
