As an architect at vConstruct, you will play a crucial role in supporting various aspects related to faades and prefabricated components. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with the onsite team to ensure seamless conversion of project design intents to prefabrication-friendly designs. This will include conducting constructability reviews, design coordination, detail development, and producing construction deliverables for partition and faade systems. Your primary duties will include architectural modeling of exterior faades and pursuit models, supporting the development of technical details for building systems, creating shop drawings for specific scopes, reviewing architectural drawings for constructability and design conflicts, and conducting quantity take-offs to provide material information for project teams. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in developing drawings and details, preferably for US-based projects. While prior experience in leading projects through design development stages is advantageous, it is not mandatory. You should be familiar with the design and development of various faade and finish systems and possess the ability to analyze the construction sequence of facade components for optimal constructability. Proficiency in architectural modeling and documentation using Revit is a must, and experience in developing higher LOD mockups or models would be beneficial. Additionally, familiarity with Revit families and parameters is desirable, along with a keen attention to detail to deliver high-quality work. Understanding of BIM work flow as per BEP Revit modeling and & Revit template creation Clash detection strategy & coordination Managing & creating work flow in BIM 360 Review and validate the model as per their LOD Managing DDC’s, JC’s and client.

Experienced in BIM workflow as per BEP, Revit modeling/template creation, clash detection, BIM 360 coordination, model review per LOD, managing DDCs, JCs, clients, adhering to PAS 1192, and updating project docs on ACC and client servers.

Roles and responsibilities Create precise structural Revit models and CAD drawings for technically challenging projects. Develop plans, sections, elevations and details from Revit 3D model. Take ownership of modeling, drawings and documentation. Understand and implement industry wide BIM standards. Develop details and drawings from conceptual ideas and engineer's sketches. Review model and drawings to ensure compliance with design. Highlight potential problems in time and look for a solution. Interact with engineers and clients to coordinate BIM models and drawings. Ensure accuracy and completeness of models and drawings prepared. Support the development of project documentation and drawing production. Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as needed. Update and maintain project notes and documentation. Ensure QA/QC documents are maintained properly. Works under general supervision. Provides training and technical support to design staff on the Building Information Modeling system, which provides 3D models using project specifications and content. Direct project support and production to assigned projects and create the drawings as required using the standards and content to meet the job requirements (objects within the drawing, doors, lights, etc.). Qualifications Diploma (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college, institute or university. 2 to 6 years proven experience in Revit modeling. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people of all levels. Proficient in written and verbal communication in English language and good command of technical English terminology. Experience in preparing 3D models of Bridges in Revit. Familiarity with AutoCAD and Navisworks. Must be experienced in ProjectWise, BIM 360/ACC. Basic understanding of construction and engineering principles. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision. Must be willing to support the team in which they work. Must be proactive and should maintain professionalism. Accuracy attention to detail and correctness of drawings. Committed to delivering excellent levels of service. Knowledge Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Ability and flexibility to learn and develop technical/software skills.
