Candidates for this role should have experience in medium to large-sized projects such as industrial and commercial buildings. Responsibilities Responsible for performing the design of all types of steel connections in accordance with the AISC design code. Preparation of connection calculations with connection details (Revit/AutoCAD). Preparation of stair design calculations. Reviewing the shop/erection drawings. Coordination with in-house staff as well as other design professionals including the Fabricator/EOR and Detailing team. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Master’s degree in structural engineering is preferred. Working knowledge of current industry software including Mathcad, Descon, RAM Connections, Revit, AutoCAD, HILTI, MS Excel, Tekla (Basic). This role involves working closely with visual merchandisers, architects, operations, and real estate teams to ensure store layouts align with brand standards and operational requirements. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed store layouts and fixture plans using CAD or retail planning software. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (visual merchandising, construction, operations) to ensure cohesive and functional designs. Plan and manage space allocation for departments, product categories, and promotional displays. Ensure layouts comply with building codes, accessibility standards, and brand guidelines. Analyze sales data, customer behavior, and traffic flow to continuously improve store layouts. Participate in new store openings, remodels, and relocations.
