Proficient in calculating income for salaried, self-employed, retirement, and pension, including other income. Examine loan documentation for accuracy and completeness and determine whether additional information may be required in order to make a credit decision. Examine and analyze assets, liabilities, income and debt information related to applicants, in order to make a credit decision. Prepare counteroffer proposals for customers and direct team member on acceptable standards for such proposals. Evaluate and review appraisal reports and collateral issues related to real estate in order to determine whether it may properly support the approval of a loan application. Preferred candidate profile Minimum of 4-6 years in live, post-close, pre-close, prefund and due diligence underwriting experience for conventional and government in a retail environment. Strong Knowledge of Revere mortgage and non-QM underwriting experience. Strong knowledge of credit capacity, capital, and collateral. Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word, Desktop Underwriter, Loan Prospector. Demonstrate high volume productivity. Must be detail oriented, organized and work efficiently under pressure. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Willingness to work from the office during night shifts, including rotational shifts.
