Key accountabilities include reconciliation of daily profit and loss (P&L) figures for trading desks, support in identification and mitigation of trading risks, maintenance and analysis of the bank's trading data, preparation and submission of regulatory reports, effective communication of complex financial information, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure a coordinated approach to trading activities. As an Assistant Vice President, you are expected to advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, take responsibility for operational effectiveness, collaborate closely with other functions/business divisions, lead a team performing complex tasks, set objectives, coach employees, appraise performance, and demonstrate leadership behaviours.
