Job Title Oracle Retail Consultant Responsibilities A day in the life of an Infoscion As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to actively aid the consulting team in different phases of the project including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation and design and deployment You will explore the alternatives to the recommended solutions based on research that includes literature surveys, information available in public domains, vendor evaluation information, etc. and build POCs You will create requirement specifications from the business needs, define the to-be-processes and detailed functional designs based on requirements. You will support configuring solution requirements on the products; understand if any issues, diagnose the root-cause of such issues, seek clarifications, and then identify and shortlist solution alternatives You will also contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers. Technical and Professional Requirements: We are looking for candidates having a minimum of 2+ years’ experience in development/ support in Oracle PL/SQL, Unix Shell script, Oracle Forms, and ADF, with implementation/ support experience in minimum two of the following modules - RMS/ ReSA/ RPM/ Retek/MFCS/SIOCS The candidate should have at least 1 Oracle RMS implementation project experience. The candidate should be able to gather requirements and develop high level technical design, and should be able to review those technical designs and codes. Candidates having strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills would be preferred. A successful Consultant is regarded by clients as a trusted business advisor who collaborates to provide innovative solutions used to solve the most challenging business problems. You will work developing solutions that excel at user experience, style, performance, reliability and scalability to reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value. Your primary responsibilities include: Build, automate and release solutions based on clients priorities and requirements. Explore and discover risks and resolving issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality and bring to the table potential solutions. Make sure that all integration solutions meet the client specifications and are delivered on time. Holding in-depth knowledge of at least one development technology/programming language. Understanding of design patterns
