Role & responsibilities Lead the structural design team across all residential projects from concept to execution. Oversee design development for RCC/ Steel structures, foundations, retaining walls, and high-rise buildings. Validate and approve design calculations, drawings, and specifications ensuring compliance with relevant codes (IS codes, NBC, etc.). Coordinate with architects, MEP, and construction teams to ensure integrated and efficient design delivery and execution. Review and evaluate structural drawings from external consultants, ensuring accuracy and cost optimization. Implement advanced software tools like STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, and AutoCAD for design and analysis. Provide expert guidance on value engineering and structural innovations to enhance quality and reduce costs. Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and statutory requirements related to structural design. Conduct structural audits, peer reviews, and site inspections during key construction phases. Advise management, appoint, and manage, suitable structural consultant for project design development. Lead, mentor, and build the internal structural design team for capability development. In-depth coordination with corporate office structural team and get timely sign off on the proposed design & documentation. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in civil engineering (min) and Masters Degree in Structural Design (preferred) Minimum 15 - 20 years of experience in leading real estate in structural design, primarily focused on residential & commercial buildings, including high-rise developments. Expertise in structural analysis & design software (STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD) Strong knowledge of Indian and international design codes (IS, NBC, ACI, BS, Eurocodes) Project management and team leadership abilities Analytical and problem-solving mindset Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Familiarity with green building norms and sustainable construction practices is a plus
