Primary Purpose of the role: We are hiring a dynamic and technically sound Solutions Consultant - Presales to join our presales team. The ideal candidate will support the sales cycle by understanding enterprise client business challenges and mapping them to Vinculum's solutions across Vin OMS, WMS, PIM, Reco, and Marketplace Stack. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to create value-driven solutions that align with customer expectations and business goals. Duties & Responsibilities: Solutioning & Technical Consultation: - Analyze customer requirements and business processes across retail, D2C, B2B, and marketplace commerce models. - Craft tailored solution proposals leveraging Vinculum's full product suite - Vin OMS, WMS, PIM, Reco, and Marketplace Stack. - Design functional architecture, workflows, and integration blueprints for client-specific use cases. Client Engagement & Demonstration: - Conduct high-impact product demonstrations and solution walkthroughs for key stakeholders (CXOs, Business Heads, IT teams). - Provide technical responses to RFIs/RFPs and conduct discovery & scoping sessions with prospects. - Build confidence with customers by answering queries related to scalability, integration, architecture, data flow, and automation. Proposal Development & Documentation: - Create presales collaterals, solution documentation, and SOWs aligned with the sales narrative. - Assist in preparing commercial proposals, pricing models, and delivery effort estimates in consultation with delivery and finance teams. Collaboration & Support: - Work with cross-functional teams to bridge the gap between client requirements and product capabilities. - Act as the voice of the customer during internal discussions for customization or roadmap inputs. - Support post-sales handover with detailed functional understanding and solution context. Market & Product Intelligence: - Stay abreast of digital commerce trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments. - Continuously update internal tools and knowledge bases with market insights and feedback. Reporting Manager: Working closely with VP- Presales. Skills & Qualifications: Education & Experience: - Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred). - 4-8 years of experience in Presales, Solution Consulting, or Business Analysis roles in RetailTech, SaaS, eCommerce, or Logistics domains. Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of: - Omnichannel retailing, order management (OMS), and warehouse operations - Product data syndication across channels (PIM) - Marketplace settlements, return reconciliation, and financial audits (Vin Reco) - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills. - Ability to design high-level solution architectures and workflow diagrams. Solutions Consultant: Presales- Exposure to platforms like Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce, SAP, Oracle Preferred Experience: - Exposure to platforms like Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce, SAP, Oracle NetSuite, and Microsoft D365. - Prior experience in handling clients from retail, lifestyle, electronics, FMCG, or logistics sectors. - Experience in dealing with multinational teams, especially across India, UAE, and Southeast Asia. You will be joining our client, an Enterprise B2B SaaS startup based in Pune, India, that offers a cutting-edge Retail Media Operating System. Tier 1 retailers and marketplaces globally are leveraging this platform to accelerate their Monetization strategy and stay ahead of the market by at least 2 years. As a Client Solutions Engineer, you will play a crucial role in understanding and addressing the needs of our clients during the pre-sales process. Working closely with the pre-sales team, you will be responsible for driving the successful completion of RFPs and RFIs by providing detailed information about our product capabilities. Your tasks will include designing tailored solutions, conducting product demos and proof-of-concepts (POCs), and ensuring seamless integration with our offerings. Your responsibilities will also involve collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical strategies. You will be expected to utilize your technical knowledge to position our offerings effectively, identify client needs, and contribute to project scoping and proposal development. Strong communication skills will be essential as you interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior managers, directors, VPs, and C-suite leaders. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 3 to 5+ years of experience in a client-facing, solution engineering, or product management role within the B2B SaaS, AdTech, Martech, RetailTech, or enterprise tech industry. You must be adept at simplifying complex product capabilities into compelling client stories and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Additionally, having expertise in architecting customized solutions for clients, strong communication and presentation skills, and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders are key requirements. Your skill set should include end-to-end ownership of pre-sales cycles, managing RFPs, RFIs, demos, POCs, and custom solution builds. You should also demonstrate proficiency in engaging VP/C-level decision-makers, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
