You will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, inventory management systems, and other retail-specific technologies in retail stores. This includes ensuring the smooth operation of hardware such as cash drawers, barcode scanners, printers, and weighing machines. Conducting regular system audits to optimize performance and security will also be part of your duties. Providing day-to-day technical support to retail teams for any IT-related issues will be essential. You will troubleshoot network connectivity issues, application errors, and hardware malfunctions. Additionally, you will be responsible for training retail staff on the use of IT systems and tools. Collaborating with the IT and Retail teams to implement new technologies or system upgrades will be a key aspect of your role. You will need to ensure data integrity and successful integration of third-party applications. You will also play a crucial role in implementing security measures to protect customer data and retail systems. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and data protection regulations will be vital in maintaining cybersecurity and regulatory compliance.
