Job Description: Store Sales Representative

About the Role

Devasya is looking for enthusiastic and customer-oriented Store Sales Executives who can offer an exceptional in-store shopping experience, drive sales, and represent the brand with professionalism and warmth.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

• Greet customers warmly and understand their needs.
• Assist customers in selecting products and provide styling or product suggestions (if applicable).
• Achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales targets.
• Maintain strong product knowledge to effectively explain features, pricing, and availability.
• Handle customer queries, exchanges, and basic complaints politely.

Store Operations

• Ensure all products are well-displayed, organized, and stocked.
• Assist with visual merchandising and maintaining store aesthetics.
• Support in inventory management: stock checking, tagging, arranging, and replenishment.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the store floor.

Billing & Documentation

• Operate the billing/POS system accurately.
• Handle cash/card/UPI transactions responsibly.
• Update customer details and support WhatsApp marketing or follow-ups when needed.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with the store team and store manager to meet sales goals.
• Participate in team briefings, training sessions, and promotions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1-5 years of retail sales experience
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer-handling skills.
• Positive attitude, confidence, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and during peak sale periods.
• Basic knowledge of billing systems, WhatsApp, and simple digital tools.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in fashion/ethnic wear/Indo-western retail (added advantage).
• Basic styling sense and understanding of customer preferences.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
