Job Description – Sales Associate

Job Purpose

To deliver an excellent customer shopping experience by assisting customers in product selection, achieving sales targets, maintaining store standards, and ensuring smooth day-to-day retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Welcome customers, understand their needs, and provide personalized assistance in selecting apparel and accessories.
• Sales & Target Achievement: Achieve individual and store sales targets while contributing to business growth.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of product features, sizes, fits, fabrics, offers, and ongoing promotions.
• Visual Merchandising: Ensure proper product display, size availability, folding, replenishment, and adherence to brand standards.
• Stock Management: Support stock replenishment, inventory checks, merchandise handling, and maintaining stockroom standards.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat visits through quality service.
• Store Operations: Follow standard operating procedures for billing support, housekeeping, safety, and store maintenance.
• Promotions & Offers: Communicate current offers, loyalty programs, and promotional schemes to customers.
• Teamwork: Coordinate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth store operations and achieve business objectives.
• Compliance: Follow company policies, grooming standards, attendance requirements, and operational guidelines.

Candidate Profile

• Education: Minimum 10th / 12th pass; graduates preferred.
• Experience: Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
• Skills: Good communication, customer service, interpersonal skills, and a sales-oriented mindset.
• Personal Attributes: Positive attitude, willingness to learn, customer-focused approach, and ability to work in a team.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and during festive seasons.
