Role Overview: As a Gen AI Architect at the Retail Technology Office, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions in the Retail domain. Your role will be crucial in shaping the AI strategy, creating innovative offerings, and ensuring client success through impactful PoCs and solutions. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the CTO and Retail strategy office to define the AI roadmap, manage a team of engineers and architects, and represent the company in client engagements and industry forums. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and lead the development of GenAI and Agentic AI solutions specifically tailored for retail use cases such as personalized shopping, intelligent agents, and supply chain optimization. - Collaborate with the CTO to establish the AI strategy, solution blueprints, and innovation roadmaps. - Design and build scalable PoCs, MVPs, and production-grade solutions using state-of-the-art GenAI tools and frameworks. - Lead and mentor a team of engineers and architects, fostering a culture of innovation, quality, and continuous learning. - Engage with clients to deliver PoVs, conduct workshops, and communicate the value of GenAI solutions with compelling storytelling and technical depth. - Ensure Engineering Excellence by implementing best practices in TDD, BDD, DevSecOps, and microservices architecture. Qualifications Required: - AI/ML & GenAI Expertise: - Proven hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Mistral, LLaMA, Gemini), GenAI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack, Semantic Kernel), and Agentic AI tools (Google Agentspace, ADK, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, MetaGPT, AutoGPT, OpenAgents), as well as Vector databases (Vertex AI, FAISS, Weaviate, Pinecone, Chroma), Prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, fine-tuning, and orchestration. - Engineering & Architecture: - Strong background in Java Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, CI/CD, DevSecOps, TDD/BDD, and Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Leadership & Communication: - Exceptional storytelling and articulation skills to convey complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, experience in client-facing roles including workshops, demos, and executive presentations, and ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive innovation in a fast-paced environment.
