Retail Design Sales Associate

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Experience & Sales Support

• Greet and engage walk-in customers, guiding them through our product range with warmth and expertise.
• Understand customer needs and assist them in making thoughtful and confident decisions.
• Support the sales team with client interactions, particularly with architects and interior designers.
• Ensure every customer interaction reflects the Chesters brand and values

Design Interests

• Assist marketing team with design and development of marketing creatives for store activations and the brand.
• Deliver high-quality, on-brand graphics to support a superior customer experience.

Operational Excellence

• Manage inwarding and outwarding of products, ensuring accurate documentation and smooth flow of inventory.
• Create and maintain accurate invoices and transaction records.
• Maintain showroom aesthetics and product displays in line with Chesters’ brand guidelines.

Relationship Building

• Cultivate long-term relationships with clients and design professionals visiting the showroom.
• Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring a high standard of service and communication.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for great design, meaningful conversations, and delivering elevated customer experiences
• Eagerness to learn the ropes of retail management, customer service, and the nuances of luxury furniture/interior showrooms
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator); knowledge of AutoCAD is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with invoicing systems and inventory processes
• Strong multitasking abilities in a dynamic, client-facing environment
• A natural storyteller with a flair for hospitality - someone who can bring our premium leather furniture to life for every guest
