Retail Assistant Girl

As a Stock Helper/ Retail Assistant Girl at anantam Women's Multi-Designer Wear Fashion Store in Gurgaon, your role will involve supporting daily store operations. You will be responsible for tasks such as stock management, barcoding, steaming/ironing garments, and assisting both Fashion Consultants (FCs) and customers in the trial rooms. The ideal candidate for this position should be organized, well-groomed, and customer-oriented. Key Responsibilities: - Receive, unpack, and organize merchandise in the stockroom. - Inspect products for damage or discrepancies and ensure they meet standards. - Count, verify, and record the quantities of items on hand. - Apply barcodes accurately and ensure all products are properly labeled. - Organize products on shelves in the store, manage the flow of goods, and ensure they are readily available. - Steam/iron garments to ensure they are neat and presentable for display or trials. - Refill shelves and maintain stock levels across the store. - Keep the stockroom and display areas clean and well-organized. - Assist Fashion Consultants (FCs) in locating and replenishing stock. - Support customers in trial rooms, including handing over different sizes or styles. - Participate in inventory checks and stock audits. - Report any stock discrepancies or damaged items to the Supervisor/Manager. Qualifications Required: - Graduate qualification preferred. - 6 months to 3 years of experience in retail or stock handling. - Familiarity with barcoding systems and basic garment care. - Comfortable using ironing equipment (steam or dry). - Physically fit and able to handle movement/lifting of stock. - Good communication skills with a customer-friendly approach. - Punctual, dependable, and a good team player.
