You will be joining the quality engineering team at PTC as a Frontend Automation QA Engineer. Your role will involve automating web applications, ensuring high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment. You should have at least 3 years of experience in automation testing for web applications and a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming languages, preferably TypeScript or JavaScript. Experience with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban is essential, along with the ability to independently create effective test cases. Hands-on experience with Playwright for frontend automation is required, and you should be a quick learner who can adapt to new technologies. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are important, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Knowledge of Cucumber BDD for behavior-driven testing is a plus, as is experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab. Basic understanding of API testing, tools like Postman or REST clients, web accessibility standards, and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS will be beneficial.
