Job Title: Business Analyst (7+ Years of Experience) Location: Noida, Agra Experience: 7+ Years Shift Timings: 10:00 AM 7:00 PM Work Mode: Work from Office (5 Days Working) Industry: Oil & Gas, SaaS Employment Type: Full- time Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA) with a strong understanding of the Oil & Gas industry, specifically Frac operations. The ideal candidate should have expertise in data analysis, mathematical modeling, and chart/graph plotting relevant to hydraulic fracturing. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to ensure data-driven decision-making and optimized product functionality. Key Responsibilities: Industry & Domain Expertise: o Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Oil & Gas, with a focus on Frac operations, drilling, and production analytics. o Translate business needs into functional requirements/user stories for SaaS applications used by the Oil & Gas industry. Charting & Visualization: o Define and validate data-driven visualizations, including time-series graphs, pressure vs. depth charts, and fracture propagation models. o Work with development teams to implement accurate and user-friendly charting components. Stakeholder Collaboration & Requirements Gathering: o Engage with product, engineering and operations teams to gather precise business and technical requirements. o Convert domain-specific knowledge into clear documentation for the development team. Process Optimization & Workflow Enhancement: o Identify gaps in existing workflows and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency. o Ensure seamless integration of analytical models with platform functionalities. Required Qualifications & Skills: Industry Knowledge: o Minimum 7 years of experience in Business Analysis, preferably within Oil & Gas software solutions. o Strong understanding of Frac operations, drilling, completions, and reservoir engineering principles. Software & Tools: o Experience working with SaaS-based Oil & Gas platforms. o Hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar). Soft Skills: o Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. o Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. o Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working with Oil & Gas SaaS providers. Knowledge of machine learning techniques for predictive analytics in Oil & Gas is a plus. Understanding of industry standards such as WITSML, PPDM, and RESQML is advantageous.
