As an Assistant in Rooms & Guest Services Operations at The Ritz-Carlton Pune, your primary responsibility will be to support management in various aspects including training, evaluating, counseling, motivating, and coaching employees. You will serve as a role model and the initial point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. Building and maintaining positive working relationships within the team to achieve common goals is essential. Listening and responding appropriately to employee concerns, following company policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager are also part of your role. Your duties will include welcoming and acknowledging guests, anticipating and addressing their service needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and expressing genuine appreciation to guests. Clear and professional communication is key, both verbally and in written documents. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to quality standards, entering and locating information using computers/POS systems, and performing physical tasks such as standing, sitting, walking, and lifting objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. To be successful in this role, you should possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and have at least 1 year of related work experience, including 1 year of supervisory experience. No specific license or certification is required for this position.
