Respiratory Therapist / PFT Technician

Job Description: You will be responsible for conducting pulmonary function tests (PFTs) such as spirometry, lung volume measurements, and diffusion capacity tests. Additionally, you will provide respiratory care services including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and other related services. Your role will also involve assessing patients" respiratory status, developing treatment plans, managing respiratory care equipment, and analyzing test results to identify abnormalities. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct PFTs, including spirometry, lung volume measurements, and diffusion capacity tests. - Provide respiratory care services such as oxygen therapy and aerosol therapy. - Assess patients" respiratory status and develop treatment plans. - Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment. - Analyze test results and identify abnormalities. Qualifications Required: - Respiratory therapy certification: CRT or RRT certification preferred. - PFT certification: CPFT certification preferred. - Strong technical skills: Proficiency in operating PFT and respiratory care equipment. - Excellent communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
