The SAP TM Consultant is responsible for successful delivery of Transportation Management (TM) module deliverables on SAP Distribution engagements, including implementation, upgrade, and/or extension of existing applications. You will assist clients in the selection, implementation and support of SAP solutions which naturally include design, configuration, and testing. You will provide functional and business process expertise on a project team which generally consists of consultants, senior consultant and client employees. Your responsibilities will include configuration of the SAP TM module, assessment of client business problems, conducting the analysis to solve the problems, and administration of engagement activities. Our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients" business environment and achieve business results. Your key responsibilities will include leading design workshops with the client, requirement gathering, solution design, gap analysis, writing function specification, configuration, testing, and cutover activities for both standalone SAP system and embedded SAP TM in S4 HANA. You will integrate SAP TM system with other modules of SAP/S4 HANA and 3rd Party systems. Additionally, you will provide functional and business process expertise to the project team, resolve TM related client issues, mentor junior team members, work with sales team, write proposals, define SAP TM scope and effort estimation for new opportunities, and present SAP TM capability to potential clients. Skills and attributes for success include 5 Plus years of experience in SAP and 3 plus years of experience in implementation, support, and upgrade projects in SAP TM. You must have good functional and business knowledge, worked in implementation, integration, testing, and application support in S4HANA embedded TM and SAP TM 9.5 version. You should have the ability to interact with other cross-functional teams from modules like OTC, EWM for integration scenario, excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills for coordinating across teams, and the ability to lead workshops or technical sessions with business. Knowledge in ABAP and debugging would be an added advantage. To qualify for the role, you must have a degree in Engineering or MBA in Supply Chain Area and desired to have SAP certification on SAP TM. Additionally, your responsibilities will include participating in pursuing client sales opportunities, working on bid and proposal efforts, and handling various industry-specific complex TM scenarios like shipper, LSP, and carriers. Your key responsibilities will involve leading design workshops with clients, requirement gathering, solution design, gap analysis, writing function specifications, configuration, testing, and cutover activities for both standalone SAP systems and embedded SAP TM in S4 HANA. You will integrate the SAP TM system with other modules of SAP/S4 HANA and 3rd Party systems. Furthermore, you will provide functional and business process expertise to the project team, resolve TM-related client issues, mentor junior team members, and work with the sales team in defining SAP TM scope and effort estimation for new opportunities. As a senior functional consultant, you should have hands-on experience in various areas in SAP TM, including SAP TM Master Data Management, Order Management integration, Planning, SAP TM business processes, Transportation Execution, Freight Settlement, and integration with other SAP modules like SAP SD/SAP MM. To qualify for this role, you must have a degree in Engineering or an MBA in the Supply Chain area. Additionally, desired qualifications include SAP certification on SAP TM and experience working in integration areas of SAP TM and other related fields. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in SAP and 3+ years of experience in SAP TM is required.
