Source Tooling and resin, raw material, inserts (bush, threaded insert, brass insert etc.), plastic suppliers in accordance with company sourcing strategy. Execute benchmarking and cost analysis among the market trend to make sound purchasing decision. Maintain Database for all resins and inserts which are currently using by the company and for those as well which we required during the quotation purposes. Personnel should understand the types of resin used for injection molding process. Utilize data analysis to optimize contract management process. Work with contract management systems, including customization of systems to meet company needs. Independently coordinate with stakeholders to ensure complex contracts mitigate risk and deliver competitive advantage by communicating all established Company contracting processes, policies, and procedures Prepare, negotiate, execute, and manage enterprise service agreements (Master Service Agreements). Responsible for coordinating contract changes including amendments, renewals, terminations, and closeout. Negotiate prices and achieve continuous cost reduction. Manage preparation, implementation and execution of procurement processes. Implement procurement processes to ensure efficiency, cost savings and best practices Work directly with customer and deliver error free services to the customer Ownership of operational and dashboard reporting as per the agreed timelines & formats with the customer. Assist with monitoring contractor performance and ensuring compliance with contract terms. Develop and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Role & responsibilities 1. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for the Plastic Division, aligning with the company's overall objectives and current market trends. Responsible for the sales and marketing of various plastic resins and films. 2. Global Coordination: Collaborate with the Toray Group across global locations, especially with teams in Japan, Malaysia, China, Thailand, and Taiwan, to align business strategies and leverage international support. 3. Market Development: Identify and develop new markets in sectors such as home appliances, automobiles, and food packaging, both within India and internationally. 4. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients while actively identifying and developing new business opportunities. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and client loyalty through proactive support and service. 5. Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Maintain accurate records of transactions, contracts, and communication with clients. 6. Market Research and Analysis: Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. Conduct detailed market research to uncover new client segments, market opportunities, and strategic insights. 7. Product Promotion and Sales Execution: Effectively promote plastic resins and film products through direct sales, presentations, industry exhibitions, and trade shows. MIS & Order Management: Generate customer-related MIS reports and manage follow-ups for repeat and new orders. Maintain thorough documentation of customer interactions and order progress to ensure efficient order execution. 10. Logistics and Delivery Coordination: Manage end-to-end logistics to ensure timely and accurate delivery of consignments in line with the proforma invoice. Work closely with logistics partners and internal departments to avoid delivery issues. Preferred candidate profile Bachelor's degree in Science (Polymers) or B.Tech in Plastics Technology Minimum of 3 to 6 years of proven experience in plastic sales, especially in resins and films Strong understanding of plastic materials, industry trends, and market behaviors Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment Proficient in MS Office and SAP Software Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally is mandatory

Qualification: MSc / B.Tech (Chemical) / B.Pharm with MBA or PG Diploma in Supply Chain Management Experience & Skills (Essential): 35 years of experience in Opex procurement, preferably in Pharmaceutical R&D, CRO, Discovery Research, or CRAMS industry In-depth knowledge of procurement cycle and CRO/R&D-related activities Hands-on experience in procurement of: Lab chemicals, consumables, glassware, chromatography columns MRO items (engineering, maintenance, spares) Biologics-specific materials (mandatory) Experience in managing long-term contracts: ARC, AMC, O&M Exposure to equipment services procurement Strong data management and reporting skills (MIS, PPTs, Excel) Proficient in computer applications and ERP systems Excellent communication skills for coordination with international suppliers and internal stakeholders Proactive, quality-focused, and problem-solving mindset Job Responsibilities Ensure timely procurement and delivery of chemicals, Opex materials, and services Follow SOPs and procurement policies diligently Handle estimate requests, obtain competitive quotations, and prepare comparative statements Coordinate with scientific teams for indent processing and approvals Create and circulate POs; ensure supplier acknowledgment Liaise with logistics for timely delivery and documentation Coordinate with scientific teams for material receipt and issue resolution Ensure timely supplier payments in coordination with finance Identify and onboard new vendors; negotiate for cost-effective procurement Submit MIS reports regularly Support new business projects and vendor consolidation Manage consolidated and open orders efficiently
