Job Description

Role Overview: As a Researcher at HireRight, your main purpose will be to provide excellent customer service delivery by conducting verifications/background screening and reporting accurate results. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a first-class customer and candidate experience through the processing of checks. Your responsibilities will include conducting research and verifying facts provided by candidates promptly, maintaining accurate processing of background reports according to guidelines, and ensuring timely follow-up on all requests and escalations. Additionally, you will communicate professionally with candidates to obtain relevant information and maintain compliance with Data Protection legislations. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure professional and timely processing of background verifications to assist candidates in getting hired - Research and verify facts provided by candidates efficiently to complete the screening process within deadlines - Process background reports accurately according to reporting guidelines and quality standards - Maintain in-depth knowledge of guidelines and procedures - Complete all assigned tasks as per schedules and handle escalated/rejected requests requiring further investigation - Provide timely follow-up and follow-through on all requests, reports, emails, and escalations - Communicate tactfully and diplomatically with candidates to clarify details and obtain necessary information promptly - Utilize all means of communication to complete background verification processing - Maintain researching skills with speed and contribute to suggesting changes for continuous improvement - Assist in mentoring, training, and coaching new team members and may participate in ad hoc projects as required - Adhere to business hours and strive to complete verifications within the stipulated time frame - Continuously acquire new knowledge to become proficient in assigned work - Conduct qualitative attempts through phone calls, emails, and vendors to complete verifications accurately and on time Qualifications: - Education: Graduate in any stream - Experience: 1+ years of voice or blended process experience, preferably in BGV industry - Knowledge & Skills: Possess professional written and oral communication skills in English, strong analytical and typing skills, keen to learn attitude, ability to take ownership of problems and proactive action, ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, proficiency in online research, MS Office, and email etiquettes, ability to review details quickly and methodically, confidence in telephone communications, including probing for information while maintaining professional relations (Note: Any additional details about the company were not present in the provided job description.),
