Job Description

Role Overview: As a Researcher at HireRight, your main responsibility will be to provide excellent customer service delivery by conducting verifications/background screening and reporting accurate results. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a first-class customer and candidate experience through processing the checks efficiently. Your duties may also include other assigned tasks to support the screening process. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct verifications/background screening with professionalism and prioritize helping candidates get hired. - Quickly research and verify facts provided by candidates to ensure timely completion of the screening process. - Process background reports accurately according to reporting guidelines and quality standards. - Maintain in-depth knowledge of all guidelines and procedures related to the screening process. - Complete all assigned tasks within the designated schedules and handle escalated/rejected requests requiring further investigation. - Ensure prompt turnaround time on all reports and accurately report factual information provided by verifying sources. - Follow up timely on all requests, reports, emails, and escalations while communicating professionally with candidates. - Utilize all means of communication effectively to complete the background verification processing. - Continuously improve researching skills and suggest changes for process enhancement. - Be open to cross-training in other functions outside immediate responsibilities and comply with Data Protection legislations and company policies. - Collaborate with the team to share workload and deliver results, including mentoring new team members and assisting in ad hoc projects. - Adhere to business hours, focus on completing verifications, and consistently acquire new knowledge to become proficient in assigned work. - Conduct qualitative attempts through phone calls, emails, and vendors to complete verifications accurately and within the set time frame. Qualifications: - Education: Graduate in any stream - Experience: 1+ years of voice or blended process experience (preferably BGV industry) - Knowledge & Skills: - Professional written and oral communication skills (English) to effectively communicate with candidates and customers - Strong analytical & typing skills - Keen learning attitude - Ability to take ownership of problems and proactive action - Ability to multitask & prioritize in a fast-paced environment - Strong skills in online research, MS Office, and email etiquettes - Ability to review details quickly and methodically - Confident with telephone communications, including probing for information while maintaining professional relations Please submit your resume/CV in English.
