Research Skills and Scientific Communication

We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) at Scholastika to support a Beginner Level Certificate Program, which focuses on Research Skills and scientific communication. The SME will be responsible for developing and reviewing instructional content, assessments, and learning materials while ensuring scientific accuracy and alignment with course objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow client-provided course design documents
• Curate and develop content for lessons and competencies
• Write instructional materials, including concept guides, case studies, and scripts
• Create and review formative assessments
• Ensure alignment with learning objectives and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with instructional designers and project stakeholders
• Participate in weekly or bi-weekly review meetings

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Communication, or a related field
• Strong experience in research skills and scientific communication
• Experience translating complex scientific concepts into learner-friendly content
• Prior experience in instructional writing or online course development
• Teaching or training experience preferred
• Cover letter required
