Research Scientist II (Medical)

The Project Research Scientist II (Medical) will be responsible for:

· Providing support to research nurses in recruitment of study subjects and

data collection.

· Ensuring data accuracy and completion (both manual and digital)

· Entering data into database, manage and maintain effective record keeping data

· Providing support to project office operations performing a variety of

standard administrative duties including typing of official documents

ensuring high quality and accuracy of work

· Keeping track of project with update reports

· Any additional work related to current project and other related projects as

instructed by the PI

Essential qualifications and experience

MBBS / BVSc / BDS with three years’ post qualification experience

Or

MBBS / BVSc / BDS + Post Graduate Degree (MD/MVSc./MDS/MPH) or any

equivalent degree, including integrated PG degrees

Or

MBBS/BVSc/ BDS with PhD

Desirable qualifications and experience

1. Postgraduate degree or diploma in clinical trial management

2. Experience as a project scientist in at least one research project involving

funding agencies like ICMR, DBT, DST, SERB, Welcome Trust, Gates

Foundation, etc

Skills

• Proficient knowledge of data, data dictionary, database, research data
• workflow, etc.
• Basics of biomedical research including informed consent process
• Well versed in recording the data
• Excellent reading comprehension and strong written as well as verbal
• communication skills, including good command of English is required
• Good understanding of needs for project and job responsibilities
• Proficiency in using computers (Windows and mac OS), internet,
• troubleshooting, using cloud storage of various types. Good organizational
• behavior and problem-solving skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-
• workers and investigators.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 36 months

Pay: ₹960,000.00 - ₹1,248,000.00 per year
