Research Precious Metal Strategy

As an Analyst/Strategist at UBS, your passion for markets and learning will be key in this role. You will be responsible for building and maintaining databases/charts related to the analysis of precious metals markets, developing quantitative tools and models to forecast market movements, and assisting in designing and publishing research notes on macro topics. You will collaborate with the precious metals strategy team in Singapore while working in Hyderabad, India. The team's focus is on forecasting precious metals, analyzing economic conditions affecting the market, and providing top-notch insights to navigate the ever-changing markets. To excel in this role, attention to detail, ability to meet tight deadlines, proficiency in Excel, and basic knowledge of econometric packages like R and Eviews are essential. Familiarity with market data packages such as Macrobond, Bloomberg, and CEIC is preferred. A willingness to learn new technical skills, understanding of International Economics, and clear communication skills are also important. Collaboration within the team setting is encouraged.
