As a Research Associate for Waste Management & Disaster Community Resilience Research at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Supporting the Tsunami Resilience Framework by assessing the long-term socio-environmental and psychosocial impacts of post-Tsunami rehabilitation in Alappad, Kerala. - Contributing to the Amala Bharatam Campaign (ABC) through field documentation, behavioral research, and impact evaluation on sanitation, waste management, and community transformation. Qualifications required for this position include: - Master's degree in Social Work, Environmental Studies, Sociology, Public Health, Disaster Management, or Development Studies. - Demonstrated experience in qualitative data collection, transcription, and NVivo/Atlas.ti coding. - Working knowledge of statistical analysis tools such as SPSS, R/Python, or Excel for tasks like correlation, regression, and index construction. - Excellent communication and documentation skills in English and Malayalam.
