Research Associate/ Jr. Research Associate

As a Kilo Lab Chemist, your role involves supporting the scale-up of chemical processes from laboratory to kilo-scale. You should have a strong foundation in synthetic organic and process chemistry, hands-on experience with kilo-lab equipment, and a commitment to safety and good documentation practices. Key Responsibilities: - Execute kilo-scale chemical synthesis based on procedures developed by process chemists or scientists. - Assist in process scale-up and technology transfer from lab scale to kilo lab or pilot plant. - Operate and maintain kilo-lab equipment such as reactors, vacuum pumps, distillation units, and filtration systems. - Monitor and control critical reaction parameters including temperature, pressure, time, and agitation. - Conduct work-up, purification, and isolation of target compounds using standard techniques. - Maintain accurate and detailed experimental records, observations, and results in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP). - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including process chemists, analytical teams, and safety personnel. - Follow GMP/GLP guidelines, HAZOP procedures, and conduct necessary risk assessments. Qualification Required: - MSc Chemistry Additional Details: You should have 2-8 years of experience in the API industry.
