Research Associate I

Job Description: You are invited to apply for the position of Research Associate I at Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) for the National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM) project funded by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Govt. of India. As a Research Associate I, you will be responsible for developing next-generation optical sensor materials to detect real-time and ppm-level hydrogen leaks, contributing to safer hydrogen storage in distributed networks and transportation. Key Responsibilities: - Develop next-generation optical sensor materials for detecting real-time and ppm-level hydrogen leaks. - Collaborate with various institutions across India, including IISER, IITs, and CSIR labs. - Utilize the advanced R&D infrastructure, expertise, and resources available at Manipal Institute of Technology to achieve the project's objectives. Qualification Required: - PhD in relevant areas of Basic Science or Engineering. Additional Details: The remuneration for this position is INR 58,000 per month along with 9% House Rent Allowance (HRA).
