Design and execute continuous-flow experiments for new and existing chemical processes.
Evaluate reaction parameters (temperature, pressure, flow rates, mixing efficiency) to achieve optimal yield, selectivity, and throughput.
Screen catalysts, solvents, and reagents suitable for continuous processing.
Develop kinetic and mechanistic understanding of reactions to enable scale-up.
Translate laboratory-scale flow processes to pilot or production-scale reactors.
Collaborate with process engineers, manufacturing teams, and safety specialists to ensure robust scale-up.
Operate and maintain flow systems (tubular reactors, micro reactors, packed-bed reactors, photochemical flow reactors, etc.).
Develop methods for continuous purification such as continuous extraction, membrane separation, etc.
Work closely with synthetic chemists, analytical chemists, engineers, and production teams.
Support development of new technologies and contribute to innovation projects in flow chemistry.
