*Job Title:* R&D and Manufacturing Executive Natural Extracts (with HPLC Expertise)

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and motivated professional to lead R&D and manufacturing activities for natural extracts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing extraction processes, standardizing herbal actives, scaling up formulations, and operating HPLC systems for quality testing and method development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research and process development for herbal and natural extracts.

• Execute extraction, purification, concentration, and drying operations.

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for pilot and commercial scale.

• Use analytical tools such as HPLC, UV-Vis, and TLC for product analysis and standardization.

• Prepare technical documentation including batch records, process flow charts, and analytical reports.

• Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory standards during all R&D and production activities.

• Collaborate with the production and QA teams to validate processes and implement improvements.

• Source and evaluate raw materials and new extraction technologies.

• Maintain detailed laboratory records and ensure calibration of analytical instruments.

Qualifications

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field.

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in herbal/natural extract manufacturing or phytochemical R&D.

• Strong knowledge of extraction techniques—solvent extraction, percolation, and spray drying.

• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting HPLC systems.

• Familiarity with GMP, ISO, and regulatory compliance in manufacturing environments.

• Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with polyphenol, alkaloid, or glycoside extractions.

• Understanding of scale-up processes and process validation.

• Knowledge of instrumentation such as rotary evaporators, filtration units, and vacuum concentrators.

• Team-oriented approach with attention to quality and detail.
