Research Assistant Position

As a Research Assistant at our institution, you will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in various domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Medical Image Analysis, Clinical Neuroscience, and more. Your primary responsibility will involve providing advanced modeling and medical image analytics support to projects within SCMIA. You will lead the development, testing, and implementation of Deep learning/machine learning models while also managing the computational and administrative requirements of the NVIDIA DGX A100 GPU Server. Collaboration will be a key aspect of your role as you work closely with a diverse team including clinicians, radiologists, technicians, surgeons, and other engineers. In addition to technical tasks, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining test scripts, documentation, and training materials for new recruits and students. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to contribute to scientific journal publications and receive advanced training on new tools to enhance your skill set. To be successful in this role, you should possess a minimum qualification of M.Tech/M.S./M.E./M.Sc. or equivalent in relevant fields such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication, Data Sciences and AI, or Applied Mathematics. Alternatively, a Ph.D. degree in one of the research domains with a focus on medical imaging will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in areas such as data analytics/modelling, data science, machine learning, clinical trial protocols, Python programming, medical image analysis, and Unity 3D development. Salary and emoluments for this position will be as per the SIU norms and commensurate with your experience and educational qualifications.
