Research Assistant

As a Research Assistant for the ICSSR funded project on Enhancing Export Potential of Ayush Products for Global Well-being, your primary responsibility will be to execute, oversee, and undertake project-related research. This will involve organizing material, data compilation, and analysis to support the project goals set by the Principal Investigator, Dr. Pravin Jadhav. You will be expected to utilize your postgraduate education in a social science discipline, ensuring a minimum of 55% marks along with NET/M.Phil./Ph.D. qualifications. Strong academic writing skills are essential for this role, as well as proficiency in English and Hindi. Knowledge of Gujarati and/or Marathi and/or Kannada languages would be desirable. Additionally, your efficiency in computer usage will be crucial for conducting research activities effectively. The position is temporary, with a period of appointment lasting up to 6 months, subject to satisfactory performance evaluation. On the other hand, as a Field Investigator working on the same project, your role will involve conducting field research in Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Karnataka. You will be responsible for gathering data, interacting with stakeholders, and providing valuable insights to contribute towards enhancing the export potential of Ayush products. For this position, a postgraduate degree in a social science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks is required. Similar to the Research Assistant role, proficiency in academic writing, computer skills, and knowledge of English, Hindi, Gujarati, and/or Marathi and/or Kannada languages would be beneficial.
