Research Assistant- Biophysical studies using SPR nano DSF

A Biophysical Studies Research Associate designs and executes biophysical experiments to investigate binding kinetic of various entities including small molecules, peptides, RNA, DNA, protein -protein interaction and Biosimilar studies based on client requirement, conducts detailed data analysis and interpretation, prepares reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Design protocol in Biacore system set up and perform experiments to binding kinetics of small and large molecules using Biacore system. Design protocol in nanoDSF system set up and perform experiments to for thermal unfolding as well as DLS to analyse the binding and quality of protein.
• Analyze and interpret complex experimental data using statistical methods and relevant computational tools, identifying patterns and drawing conclusions.
• To maintain accurate records of experiments and contribute to the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Required Skills and Qualifications
• Proficiency in Biacore and nanoDSF biophysical techniques and instrumentation, along with strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Ability to conduct independent experiment and contribute to the design of experiments and studies. .
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse scientific teams to achieve shared research objectives.
• Person having hand on experience in Biacore and nanoDSF is preferred.

Additional skills

Additional skills relevant to cell culture and biochemical assays include data analysis and interpretation, knowledge of molecular biology techniques like PCR and Western blotting, experience with protein purification and characterization, proficiency in biochemical assay types such as ELISA and enzyme kinetics, and understanding of good laboratory practices like aseptic techniques and quality control
