Research and Evaluation Coordinator

The Research and Evaluation Coordinator position at our organization involves collaborating closely with the Senior Manager, Research and Evaluation to contribute to the design, implementation, and dissemination of research and evaluation studies. These studies aim to assist our organization in delivering impactful programs that cater to the learning needs of educators and learners in secondary schools and TVET institutions. Your responsibilities will include leading the development of research and evaluation frameworks, methodologies, and tools, with a focus on qualitative approaches. You will also play a key role in framing evaluation questions, designing data collection strategies, conducting qualitative data collection activities like interviews and focus group discussions, and analyzing qualitative data using appropriate methods. Furthermore, you will be involved in preparing research and evaluation reports, presentations, and communication materials, presenting evaluation findings to various audiences, and collaborating with different teams within the organization. Your role will also require you to assist in information dissemination, maintain relationships with external stakeholders, and ensure timely submission of relevant reports. To be eligible for this role, you should possess a postgraduate degree in social sciences or a related field, along with 4-5 years of experience in evaluation or research within a development organization. Knowledge of current evaluation and research trends, experience in designing qualitative tools for educational programs, and strong data analysis skills are essential. Proficiency in using software for qualitative data analysis, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to travel when required are also important qualifications.
