Job Description

We are looking General Manager- (Power Plants projects) for our organization. JOB ROLE: - Site management, Project Planning, coordinating and managing all phases of construction projects, including project initiation, billing, planning, and execution. Developing and managing project schedules, budgets and resource allocations to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery. Must have exposure in Tendering and Project Execution. Job description Position: GENERAL MANAGER(Exp in thermal power plants projects) Qualification: Diploma/B.Tech(CIVIL) is mandatory to have Experience: Exp.10 yrs to 15yrs Flexible for site visit frequently No of vacancies : 1 Location: Noida (Head Office) He must have experience in Tendering and estimation and project execution for Govt/Private Sector (FOR Client BHEL/NTPC/L&T/TATA POWER/GE POWER/JINDAL STEEL AND POWER/PDCL/RSPL Key Responsibilities Strategic: Plan and schedule project construction activities. Develop material and work planning strategies. Establish project-specific quality and safety policies. Coordinate and interpret design requirements effectively. Operational: Supervise on-site construction teams. Implement and enforce quality and safety policies. Collaborate with the design team for timely drawing releases, revisions, and material selection. Verify quantity checks and ensure accurate bill certifications. Ensure contractors comply with statutory norms. Coordinate material planning with the techno-commercial team for timely deliveries. Oversee site stores management. Assist in contractor selection, extra item rate finalization, and evaluations. Provide regular MIS updates and project progress reports. Conduct random quality and compliance checks on work, materials, and records. Supervise site security and maintain statutory records. Financial: Plan monthly cash flows for project execution. Monitor construction costs against the allocated budget. Identify cost-saving and time-efficient alternatives. Assess market rates for materials and services to optimize spending.
