Key Skills: Polarion, UDS, Embedded C, NXP, MISRA, Reqtify, Agile Roles and Responsibilities: Analyze, define, and document software requirements using tools like Polarion or DOORS. Design high-level and low-level software architectures using UML and other modeling tools. Develop and implement embedded C code for real-time automotive applications. Integrate and validate software components for microcontroller-based systems (especially NXP S32K3xx series). Conduct unit testing and system-level testing using tools such as CANoe. Perform static code analysis using tools like Coverity, VectorCast, and Lint to ensure code quality. Adhere to MISRA coding standards and ensure compliance throughout the development lifecycle. Maintain traceability across requirements, design, implementation, and testing using tools like Reqtify. Participate in peer code reviews and inspections to ensure software quality and best practices. Collaborate effectively within Agile Scrum teams to deliver reliable software increments. Support continuous integration and version control using tools such as Git, SVN, or ClearCase. Skills Required: 6-10 years of hands-on experience in embedded systems software design, development, and testing. Proficient in Embedded C programming and software debugging techniques. Strong understanding of electronics fundamentals and real-time operating systems (RTOS). Deep experience with CAN communication protocols (UDS, KWP2000, J1939). Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies, including Scrum practices. Experience in device driver development for embedded hardware platforms. Knowledge of MISRA-C:2000/MISRA-C:2012 standards and best coding practices. Experience with tools for requirements management (Polarion, DOORS) and traceability (Reqtify). Skilled in using version control systems (SVN, Git, ClearCase). Proficient with software modeling tools like Enterprise Architect or similar UML tools. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Experience: Experience with NXP S32K3xx series microcontrollers. Automotive software development background with exposure to ASPICE or ISO 26262 (nice to have). Education: B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech/Master's degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or Computer Science, or equivalent discipline.
