Job Title: Production Supervisor / Plant Head Location: Kursi road industrial Area Salary: 3LPA to 6LPA Experience: 5+ yr. Reporting To: Factory Manager / General Manager Operations / Director Job Summary: The Production Supervisor / Plant Head will be responsible for managing the overall production operations of the plant. This role involves planning, organizing, and supervising day-to-day manufacturing activities, ensuring product quality, managing manpower, optimizing resources, and achieving production targets while maintaining safety and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: Production Planning & Control Prepare and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules. Allocate resources (manpower, machines, materials) to meet production targets. Monitor production output and ensure timely delivery as per customer requirements. Operations & Supervision Supervise shop-floor activities, assign work to operators/workers. Monitor machine operations, minimize downtime, and ensure preventive maintenance. Coordinate with purchase, quality, and stores departments for smooth workflow. Quality & Compliance Ensure production is carried out as per quality standards & specifications. Reduce rejection, wastage, and rework through process improvement. Maintain ISO, safety, and statutory compliance within the plant. Manpower Management Supervise workers, technicians, and team leaders on the shop floor. Conduct on-the-job training, motivate the workforce, and resolve disputes. Prepare shift schedules, monitor attendance, and manage labor efficiency. Cost & Efficiency Optimize raw material consumption and control production costs. Implement lean manufacturing / 5S practices for process improvement. Track KPIs like OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), downtime, and yield. Reporting & Coordination Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production reports for management. Report breakdowns, production delays, and suggest corrective actions. Coordinate with higher management on production planning & strategies. Key Skills Required: Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, machines, and materials. Leadership and people management skills. Production planning & ERP knowledge. Good problem-solving and decision-making skills. Familiarity with safety standards and quality control systems. Qualifications & Experience: Diploma / B. Tech (Mechanical / Electrical / Production / Industrial). 5 to 10 years experience in manufacturing / plant operations. Prior experience in a supervisory or plant head role is preferred.

Main Responsibilities & Tasks Achieve production rates and goals as set by the shift or team leader. Conduct and monitor all production operations to ensure products meet quality standards. Strictly follow all safety rules related to both equipment and personnel. Report production details with accuracy and rigor to the shift or team leader. Ensure a clean and organized work environment at all times. Qualifications & Experience Proven relevant experience working with an HMC machine . Ability to read, interpret, and perform basic calculations. Skills Strong knowledge of materials, products, and associated equipment and processes. Knowledge of HMC machine programming to produce parts according to technical drawings. Familiarity with software tools such as Autodesk Powershape & Powermill for program generation. Excellent knowledge of quality, safety, and environmental standards and procedures. The ability to report production data accurately and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. You should have 2-4 years of relevant experience in producing periodic accurate and timely Client Reports and Presentations across multiple investment strategies for an Asset Manager or Bank. Your responsibilities will include working with others to draft Requirement Documents, review data sets, source data accurately, standardize data for consistency, create reporting templates, perform testing, and implement suitable reporting templates in a timely manner. You must have a proven working knowledge of client reporting platforms, processes, internal and external data providers, and a strong sense of risk mitigation. Coordinating information flow between relevant internal business areas to ensure accurate and timely completion of reports is crucial. Additionally, you should continuously maintain reporting templates, suggest ways to check for data issues and resolve them, manage project timelines, support functional testing, and deployment. Experience in MS Excel, MS Power Query / BI, automation software like Alteryx, SQL, Simcorp Coric, object-oriented programming, TFS, .NET, C#, and understanding of performance principles and calculations is required. Your role will involve creating and maintaining SOPs, risk logs, BCP, suggesting and implementing tools to automate and optimize reporting workflows, and resolving automation issues. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be highly motivated, independent, have a strong interest in solving complex problems, and be able to manage projects and deadlines effectively. Maintaining strong working relationships with external/internal clients and responding to queries in a timely manner is essential.,
