A successful Base24 Developer at Fiserv plays a key role in ensuring bug-free and high-quality project delivery. You will be a pivotal delivery stakeholder, contributing significantly to the quality of service provided to customers. As a Senior Professional, you will engage in consistent collaboration with multiple teams, offering technical expertise to address key challenges. Your responsibilities will include defining technical designs, developing reusable platforms and solutions, implementing project standards, performance tuning, and adhering to best practices. In this role, you will: - Perform BAU fixes and development projects on Base24 Classic. - Provide Level 3 production support for Base24 Classic. - Proactively seek opportunities for system improvements in production support. - Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Base24 development projects. - Create and review implementation plans, as well as deploy code in production environments. - Analyze bi-annual compliance mandates. - Collaborate with other Technology teams and coordinate system-related activities. - Demonstrate flexibility to engage in both development tasks and production support. To excel in this position, you should have: - Minimum 6+ years of experience working with Base24 Classic, with preference given to POS experience. - Technical proficiency in the HP NonStop platform and expertise in TAL & COBOL programming languages. - Familiarity with at least one replication tool used on Tandem systems. - Knowledge of ASSET or FINSIM simulators. - Self-motivation and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Desirable qualifications include: - Proficiency in spoken, written, and reading English at an advanced intermediate level. - Understanding of Fraud prevention solutions such as Falcon Fraud Manager. - Experience with Agile development methodologies.
