Troubleshoot automation systems in the repair and production lines. Maintain high standards in documentation work , including PPTs, Excel reports, and one-page summaries . Execute detailed failure analysis and implement corrective repair strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams for continuous improvement in quality and productivity. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY: Conduct comprehensive verification of operator work against established process plans for welding, heat treatment, and thermal spray operations and likewise on aerospace components. Ensure operators utilize correct process parameters, machine programs, and tooling as specified in engineering documentation for each manufacturing step. Oversee and verify accurate recording of critical process data, including program versions, machine settings, and material traceability information. Confirm achieved dimensions, surface finishes, and other critical characteristics comply with engineering drawings, manuals, and quality standards. Identify and document any deviations or non-conformances from established procedures, escalating issues as required. Ensure all verification activities and process outputs meet stringent aerospace industry quality and regulatory requirements (e.g., AS9100). Maintain meticulous records of all verification activities, findings, and corrective actions, preparing detailed reports for management and quality assurance teams. SKILLS / COMPETENCE: Must have: 5 - 7 Years of experience in repair process engineering A good team player, people leader who can work well under pressure or in stressful and demanding situations or environments. Well aware of Aircraft /Aero Engine components and functional details along with their operation procedures. Hands on experience on various repair processes (e.g Machining, Thermal spray coating/plating, Welding, Heat Treatment, Etching, NDT & Cleaning) & Engineering drawings. Thorough understanding of Engine Manuals, SPMs and Repair processes Having good knowledge on GD&T and ASME Y14.5 1994 standards. To follow-up COMMODIF and LUPs to know the changes made in part design by engineering team To decide the impact of this change in Spare part catalogue with clear interchangeability confirmation To define sales mode in network based on the Technical documentation guide specified by SMR. To enable the feasible spare part for reparation based on Cost, Logistics, and Customer requirement inline to repair methods Mass production part and after sales part by passing Service technical offer (OTR) and also, to decide the impact of engineering part change to after sales with DEVO file (Design note) attached with new reference available for the project. Define the attributes of the New part like technical family, Supplier details, Colour, Material, also to create new after sales references for parts if need based on defines sales mode. To document the SIEs in Phenix Validate and Publish the SIE Reply to the network alerts management (HTL), raised by RIPL reHTLding the queries on finding Spare part number or any error on documentation use to be raise through HTL. The respective PTR VS has to respond to the urgent alerts within 2 days and for standard within 7 days. Ensure 100% adherence of Project Milestone in terms of Spare parts documentation.
