Role & responsibilities Identify, develop and nurture new business opportunities (domestic & international) in chemicals, intermediates, dyes, agrochemical and API segments, aligned with company offerings. Manage the full sales process: prospecting lead generation product presentations negotiation closing deals after-sales follow-up. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective key accounts: chemical manufacturers, formulators, distributors, agrochemical companies, pharmaceuticals, etc. Research market trends, competitor activities, customer needs and regulatory landscapes in the chemicals & intermediates industry; provide feedback and recommendations for new product introductions, pricing, value propositions. Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, track performance vs targets, and provide regular updates to leadership. Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, operations, quality, export documentation) to ensure seamless order fulfilment, timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with applicable chemical handling, export-import regulations, licensing, documentation and customer due diligence (particularly for chemicals/intermediates). Represent the company at relevant industry events, trade fairs, customer visits, seminars to expand network and visibility. Preferred candidate profile Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales & marketing in the chemical / agrochemical / pharmaceutical intermediates / dyes industry. Strong communication (English & Hindi; additional regional language a plus) and presentation skills. Proven track record of achieving sales targets, generating leads, managing account relationships. Good understanding of the chemical industry: products, applications, market segments, regulatory/quality considerations. Comfortable working in a target-driven environment; self-motivated, proactive, able to travel (within India + some international exposure if required). Ability to coordinate across internal functions (operations, logistics, quality) and externally with customers/distributors.
