Roles and Responsibilities Provide specialized medical care to patients with acute and chronic kidney diseases, including dialysis and renal transplant follow-up. Manage patients with conditions such as chronic kidney disease (CKD), acute kidney injury (AKI), glomerulonephritis, nephrotic syndrome, and electrolyte imbalances. Supervise and manage haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols. Participate in the evaluation, preparation, and post-operative care of renal transplant patients in coordination with the transplant team. Perform nephrology-related procedures such as renal biopsies, central venous catheter insertion, and AV fistula care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including urologists, endocrinologists, cardiologists, and dieticians for comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans, and documentation as per hospital standards. Assist in the training and supervision of junior doctors, dialysis staff, and nursing teams. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, CMEs, and departmental meetings. Desired Candidate Profile MBBS with MD in Internal Medicine and DM/DNB in Nephrology from a recognized institution. 5 to 6 years of experience in nephrology, including dialysis and transplant exposure. Proficient in managing complex nephrology cases and performing related procedures. Strong diagnostic skills, patient-centric approach, and excellent communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical teams in a high-volume environment.
