As a Senior Global Assignment Consultant (SGAC) at SIRVA Worldwide Relocation and Moving, you will play a crucial role in supporting the international relocation needs of our corporate clients. Your primary responsibility will be to act as the main point of contact for international assignees, ensuring the smooth coordination of a variety of services in accordance with our clients" international assignment policies and procedures. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing the end-to-end delivery of global assignment services, such as policy counseling, destination services, immigration, household goods, and repatriation. You will provide personalized consultation to assignees throughout the assignment lifecycle, interpret client policies to offer tailored advice, manage assignment-related expenses, and ensure compliance with policies. Collaboration with internal teams and Global Certified Providers is essential to ensure seamless service delivery. You will work closely with Global Account Management to achieve client goals, participate in client meetings, and prepare reports as necessary. Additionally, you will interface with client HR teams on relocation matters, manage exception requests, and address issues proactively with clear communication. As a Senior Global Assignment Consultant, you will be responsible for managing a reduced caseload, maintaining workload balance, updating tools used across the account, and training new team members on client-specific processes. You will also serve as the first point of escalation for service-related issues. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in global relocation or assignment management, strong knowledge across various areas of global mobility, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a client service mindset. You should demonstrate the ability to handle complex relocations with professionalism and empathy, as well as a track record of performance excellence. This will involve ensuring that all relocation activities are performed in accordance with documented processes and client and JLL policies. You will act as the single point of contact for all relocation project activities for the client, providing regular updates on scope, schedule, and budget as necessary. Additionally, you will facilitate and document project meetings with internal staff and key stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding of responsibilities. Your role will also involve developing and implementing relocation project plans and budgets in collaboration with facility managers, project managers, and construction managers. You will procure and manage move labor, including vendor/contractor selection through the RFP process. In terms of Client Communication and Management, you will be responsible for developing and implementing detailed communication plans with clients. You will exhibit strong verbal communication skills at all levels of the client organization and across the extended project team. As part of People Management, Leadership, Talent Management, and Teamwork, you will provide career guidance and development for employees, contribute to the skill development of team members, and participate in new employee orientation and training. In Business Development, you will be directly responsible for enhancing team revenues through the maintenance and expansion of existing client relationships and developing new relationships. You will function as a subject matter expert for specific products or services and contribute to the development of new product and service delivery ideas. To excel in this role, you should be proficient in CAD/CAFM technology with a move management module and/or facilities management system, possess strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Projects skills, and have the ability to utilize the Microsoft Office suite of technologies. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to manage priorities effectively and work both independently and in a team. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of facility, project, or construction-related experience in a Corporate Real Estate Environment, with a background in project management, construction management, architecture, or project strategy planning being desirable. Previous experience as a Relocation Project Manager or in a related role for a minimum of 2 years is recommended.,
