As an experienced QA Practice Lead in the airport domain, you will be responsible for driving the quality engineering strategy for the Lines of Business (LoBs) and designing the future roadmap of the portfolio. With 15-18 years of experience, you should possess advanced knowledge in quality engineering, automation technology, DevOps, and testing tools to provide solutions for a complex portfolio of business applications. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure end-to-end quality, reliability, and compliance of safety-critical systems in the airport domain. Your responsibilities will include identifying continuous improvement opportunities, conceptualizing and creating reusable components and frameworks, and advocating for DevOps and Agile concepts within the portfolio. You will be expected to lead quality engineering pilots, implement robust test automation frameworks, and ensure high test coverage and reliability across CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, you will drive root cause analysis, continuous improvement practices, and oversee performance, scalability, and reliability testing for mission-critical systems. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or relevant engineering field, along with certifications such as ISTQB Foundation and Advanced Level Test Manager, Certified Agile Test Leader or CSM, and Core Java or Database certification. Your expertise in automation frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Karate, SoapUI will be crucial for implementing and maintaining quality engineering solutions. Knowledge of CI/CD workflows, performance testing tools like JMeter, and bug tracking tools like Jira will also be essential. In addition to technical skills, you should possess behavioral skills such as change management, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and team building capabilities. Your ability to drive a quality-first culture, stay updated on industry trends, and contribute to engineering events within the organization will be key to your success in this role. By promoting digital transformation and operational excellence, you will play a vital role in enhancing passenger experience and supporting seamless airport operations.
