As an SAP S/4 Technical Release Management Engineer at McCain Foods(India) P Ltd in Gurgaon, your role involves overseeing the deployment and maintenance of SAP S/4HANA systems to ensure seamless integration of new releases and updates. Your responsibilities and qualifications for this position are outlined below: Key Responsibilities: - Release Planning and Coordination: Develop and manage release schedules, ensuring alignment with project timelines and business objectives. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prepare, validate, and deploy releases. - Deployment Management: Oversee the deployment of SAP S/4HANA releases, ensuring changes are safely migrated into the production environment. Handle transport movements across different SAP components. - System Maintenance: Support and maintain the SAP system landscape, including installation, maintenance, and housekeeping of SAP Solution Manager. Monitor system performance and address issues promptly. - Change and Risk Management: Implement and manage release management processes for SAP configuration and code through all production and project environments. Ensure adherence to change management processes and continuous improvement practices. - Testing Coordination: Coordinate testing activities to validate release readiness, ensuring that all changes meet quality standards before deployment. Qualifications: - Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of SAP technical architecture, including landscape, environment, and transport orders. Experience with SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM) and STMS monitoring is desirable. - Experience: 2 to 6 years of experience in SAP release management or related roles, with a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ITIL processes. - Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex technical issues, recommend solutions, and implement them effectively. - Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to various audiences. - Education: Bachelor's degree in Technology, Science, or a related field.
